Do you love a classic white and timeless kitchen as much as I do? Colors and patterns are a blast to incorporate in your home but sometimes a design style just calls for a classic white kitchen. I'm breaking down the design details on finishes that will keep a crisp white kitchen feeling warm and cozy.
Starting off with the white cabinets, the key is to select a cabinet style that incorporates some type of paneling or molding detail. One of my favorites is a classic shaker style door.

Next up are the countertops. To keep the fresh & light look, you'll want to choose a slab material that the majority of the coloring is white or light gray with contrasting veining. Try to avoid using a solid white countertop as it will look a bit dull.
On to the Backsplash. There's nothing like a classic subway tile backsplash. You can take it a step further and instead of choosing a glossy white tile, choose a marble subway tile or even a crackle porcelain. It's all about finding ways to add a subtle texture for keeping a simple white kitchen feeling warm and cozy.

Last but not least, the hardware selection. There are lots of options to choose from. You can incorporate polished gold hardware, brushed gold hardware, polished nickel, matte black. Really the possibilities are endless because of maintaining a fresh calming palette on the other materials.
