On March 1st, the School Board meeting was held at Plantation High School and had the initial approval of the Parkland Boundary change for the elementary schools. The plan approved assigns children that live north of Sawgrass Expressway, west of 441, south of Loxahatchee Rd. and east of University Drive will attend Riverglades Elementary beginning the school year of 2017 to 2018. There is one more approval for this to go into effect and the next Hearing will be held on March 22nd at 5:30 pm.

Superintendent Runcie of Broward County Schools has released the 2017-18 SUPERINTENDENT’S FINAL BOUNDARY RECOMMENDATIONS: Here is the link to read the Superintendents recommendation: Broward School Superintendent's Final Boundary Recommendation In order for this to pass it has to be approved by the School Board members at a public hearing on March 1 and then approved again by the members at a public hearing on March 22. There is speculation that an amendment will be made by the School Board at the first hearing.
