Latest on Parkland School Boundary Changes

Superintendent Runcie of Broward County Schools has released the 2017-18 SUPERINTENDENT’S FINAL BOUNDARY RECOMMENDATIONS: Here is the link to read the Superintendents recommendation:

In order for this to pass it has to be approved by the School Board members at a public hearing on March 1 and then approved again by the members at a public hearing on March 22.
There is speculation that an amendment will be made by the School Board at the first hearing. The recommendation, as written, currently states: Elementary Students residing within the combined boundary of Heron Heights and Park Trails Elementary Schools may be assigned to Riverglades Elementary
